How many of you would like to see GreedyTorrent in Linux?
Consider this as a response poll.. Just want to know how many of you out there are downloading torrents using Linux.
Do tell about your linux flavour too... |

I would also love to see a Linux version of this program... as for uberrig (above), I realize that this is not entirely in keeping with the typical Linux ideals, but the arguments for this program (amongst many other ratio spoofing/cheating/whatever programs) still hold: some people's connections do not permit the uploading required to maintain the ratios demanded by some sites! Until this is rectified, these programs will continue to be necessary.
That being said... I can't USE this program yet, since I'm on Ubuntu!
Please make a Linux version soon! Thanks! |

I've been successful in running GT on redhat using Wine. |

I've managed to get GT running under WINE with uTorrent... but I typically use Ktorrent in Linux (Ubuntu Feisty Fawn) since I've been trying to stick with Linux-based software as much as possible.
I know this begs the question: Why use GT then? Because I know that a Linux version is in the works! |
