Well , every day i wonder why it take so long to i meet this program
Well, like most friends used to do i used to use ratiomaster tools to help me to keep my ratio until i know this tool. The only problem was that it was a windows tool but fortunately it could run in wine. But i would really appreciate a linux version. Well , if it were possible i would love an ARM port for debian arm , cause i use a linkstation pro as my P2P box 24/7 and unfortunately there is no WINE to this arch. |

What about this program makes it un-linux-like? That it is closed source? Big deal. The nVidia driver is also closed source, they call a kernel that has loaded this driver 'tainted' . But GT also means empowerment, and that is very Linux-like. |

Linux port?
Yes, plz.
Been using GT for a few months now, for at least 6 hours a day. No problem what so ever.
As has been said, if i had unlimited (fair use) upload capacity, and better speeds i would really share, no problem. But unfortunately i have to make choices on how i use my limited services to the p2p community... |

I used to use GT under Wine in 32bit Ubuntu, but since I can't use Wine in 64bit Ubuntu, I'm no longer able to use this great program -- so a version for 64bit AMD is sorely needed.
Thanks. |

Consider this as a response poll.. Just want to know how many of you out there are downloading torrents using Linux.
Do tell about your linux flavour too... |
Would love it. Ubuntu 8.04 |

i'm already using it in Ubuntu Hardy wif WINE... however, I cannot ascertain if the program is working because GT under WINE doesn't produce anything in the Log View, and hangs itself whenever I try to select the Preferences tab. (trying to attach screenshot, but can't!)
also, i set the localhost in deluge under Tracker Proxy - is tat correct? (in uTorrent we r told to set localhost under Proxy Server)
Any help?

I'm having the same problem too. It freezes up when I clicked at Preference. Wonder if it requires certain dll etc. |

Count me too as a yes.
I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 + wine 1.1.2 + Deluge 0.5.9.3
GT on my machine does not start right every time (I exit and re-run it 5-8 time till it works) and after 2-5 minutes it uses all the CPU |
