i am using utorrent 1.8.2 on windows vista, and the latest version of greedy torrent.

i have configured greedy torrent as per the instructions on this site, setting proxy as local host etc.

greedy torrent starts, but remains idle even when utorrent is actively downloading.

i have made sure no firewall is blocking either program and have tried a setting the port to a number of different ports in the usable range but nothing has worked.

please, some suggestions. greedy torrent has worked fine for me in previous versions and prev versions of utorrent

For me it works. Check ur config again.

no it doesn;t work, however when i changed the name of localhost to what it suggests here it's back working:
