I heard abt GT from torrentfreak.com ... tested it for awhile ... just hit 100 hours of non-stop leeching with GT (i'm luvin it  )
tested GT with 37 private trackers where the staff has no job but to catch cheaters !! 
my stats for 100 hours

dn=48.93 GB
up=32.46 GB
GT modified ratio --> 1.45 x 32.46 =47.067 GB
i'm just downloading just to see whether anyone does manage to find GT ... seems some admins are tryin to compare daily ratio's ...dunno whether that works coz there are too many users to monitor.anyway i havent been banned from any site or even got a warning .
so far GT hasnt shown any kind of errors ... its happily sitting in my system tray 
So leechers , download torrent with lot of leechers , use only small upload ratio , set GT to modify ur upload value rather than download value .
I have a few more private trackers to test but seems they too wont be seeing my GT either . |

Its true that ur chances of getting caught is slim if u use GT properly. But I guess all should upload to the maximum they can. GT as it says should be used only as a survival kit. Please don’t reduce the speed with which u upload even if u use GT. Use it only to gain a 1:1 ratio on private trackers.  [/b] |

Notice the keyword in his quote. SLIM. Give it a few weeks and youll either see a whole ton of dead torrents. Or a whole ton of banned users. Either way there will be less downloads for some people.

It gave me something to do the last few days when I was bored.

I have acctually banned 17 users using this program as a matter of fact.
I highly doubt I will catch many more today due to the fact my sites peerbase is rather small and the site is very community based... To put it in lamens terms most users on my site beleive strongly in sharing. The ones that dont want to share to 1:1 still normally leave their clients seeding at sucky speeds due to the fact we give them other incentives just for leaving files in their client.

Thats a great thing to do.. i really appreciate that..
But the user u banned, using GT, would only b some greedy leechers tryin to get more out in less time.. 
Be careful Melvinow, u may b banning legitimate users there... |
