I'm required to use an anonymizing proxy (Privoxy+Tor) in order to bypass my ISP's attempts at blocking BT client traffic. How can I continue to use GT? |

Right now GreedyTorrent does not support proxy chaining. Future version will have an option to forward GreedyTorrent traffic via another proxy.

If you're using a SOCKS proxy, try a 'SocksCap' ( http://soft.softoogle.com/ap/sockscap-download-5157.shtml ). You run Sockscap, configure it, then get it to launch another application (such as greedy torrent). What it will do is take greedy torrent's requests and tunnel them through the SOCKS server you've chosen without it having to know about it (really good for apps if they dont have proxy support).
I think they might be something simular around for HTTP proxies, might have to do some digging.
Hope it helps. |
