Proxy connect error:offline (timed out)

(1) The client you are using and its version
Utorrent, I was originally using 1.7.5 and gt&ut was working fine for around a week. After I got this error I read here on the forums it may be that version so I swapped down to 1.6.1 now.

i setup ut with http/listenport/port:22781
i setup gt to use port 22781
they both worked fine for about a week

which one does this mean? http/listenport/port:22781
(1) you configured ut to listen at 22781
(2) you configured ut to use proxy at 22781/http.

if (1) is what you have done, change it and you'll be fine.
i'm using ut1.7.5 with gt, so far no probs at all.. I'm wondering why all these guys are having probs.

also, are you using a firewall? have u unblocked gt? also, if winxp max conn limit is not patched, pls try to do it.

ut listens on 22782
ut uses proxy on 22781
I am not using a firewall
I have also done the max connections patching as well

Thank you for the reply, but I AM still having this problem if anyone knows? The update to 1.7.6 did not help btw.
