| This problem also occurs with XP running. The tracker error is "Proxy connection error".... developers please see if this could be fixed ASAP. |

this was my workaround
didn't work with any tracker before
utorrent 1.7.7
latest greedy
in winXP SP2 compatibility and run as admin
works like a charm

if the admins of a given tracker are smart enough they will detect the constant relation between the users upload and download ....
upload/download= constant (the value set on GT let's say 2.35 ... |

What is the IP reported to the torrent community ? such asin azureus or utorrnet you can see the ip address of the peers... and so can the RIAA...

wxWidgets is very portable by design, so porting the application to other platforms will be straightforward.
Please release the source code. Then the port will not take any of your time.
