Multiples of actual upload are recommended! do NOT use multiple of downloads higher than 2, i use 4 times upload and i never got banned. got banned once for setting GT by mistake to 4 times download.

yes the new version is safe..actually i'm using it right now, i upgraded to the new version 2 maybe 3 days ago ,,uTorrent 1.7.6 works fine with GT!!
