Using GT with new torrentz - specifically on thebox.bz

How is GT is used with a new torrent?

If I have posted a brand new programmme on thebox.bz, uploaded for the first time, how is GT used in order to get more ratio for my seeding.


I do want to give something to that community, but find the staff there make that a bit difficult sometimes...

Ok... I've worked out that it does indeed work on new uploads fine

So far, no detection

Greedytorrent is *still* working for me on thebox.bz

I set 'report my upload' as between 0.80 to 0.90 'times my download', and it keeps me above their "ratio watch" level.

I change it periodically between those limits, checking if there are many other downloaders - if not, maybe I come off GT and leech for real, or just lower the figure below 0.80.

If I'm just seeding, maybe I'll come off GT and seed for real, or set my upload as 1.20 - 1.50 times my real upload - max.


Thanks again for GT - I really don't get on with the tortuous and stupid rules at The Box, so GT keeps me downloading the stuff I want.



It also helps to keep your head down on that site - no posting, no uploading new stuff, not even a catchy avatar. Don't get noticed by the w*nkers on the staff for any reason.

I've been trying to use GT on Thebox but have been banned for it.

Reporting upload as 3.21 times your download might just be where you're going wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You *really* have to go easy. Just stay under the radar, and above ratio watch.

The idea is to stay in the game from the get go - no point in trying to recover from a low ratio, nor in trying to get the biggest ratio on the tracker.

Don't post , don't argue, don't get noticed; upload a perfect torrent occasionally and seed it for real..

Do nothing that isn't "normal".
