I've encountered some issue in using GreedyTorrent and uTorrent 1.8.x - 2.x, every time i enable the uTorrent to use the GreedyTorrent virtual proxy the servers reply with:

Proxy connect error: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refuse it.

uTorrent network settings:

Enable UPnp: yes
Enable NAT-PMP: yes
Randomize port: no
Add windows firewall excep: yes

Proxy: HTTP - port: 4321

GT settings:
port: 4321

I can confirm that all the above settings worked grate on WinXP.

Can some one tell me if this is a general issue or is an isolate case, there is any solution for this?

Thanks.

It seems that the translation of the localhost is different on Win7 than on WinXP, so for those who encounter the mentioned error please change the localhost with 127.0.0.1
